Prince of Wales Hotel (Waterton, Alberta)

Hotel Prince of Wales

Located just north of Glacier National Park, high on a bluff overlooking Waterton Lake and the small town of Waterton, Alberta, the Prince of Wales Hotel is one of the most photographed in the world.  When you see the beautiful building and the sweeping views, it’s easy to see why.

The Great Northern Railway built the hotel in 1927 and the design was always intended to be inspiring and different that any other hotel in the country.  Panoramic views from the hotel lobby and lawn of Waterton Lake and the mountains of Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, Canada are part of what make the Prince of Wales Hotel an iconic Canadian landmark.
